ClearDetox is an innovative, hypoallergenic beverage formulated specifically to support normal detoxification and liver function. Rice protein provides a full complement of essential and nonessential amino acids, including the sulfur-containing amino acids cysteine and methionine. Reduced glutathione is involved in phase II detoxification of xenobiotic compounds. N-acetyl-l-cysteine also functions as an antioxidant and helps maintain tissue glutathione levels. In addition, it also has the potential to bind heavy metals such as mercury and cadmium.
