Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) support normal lipid profiles already within a normal range. Supportive but not conclusive research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease.
