Hey Wait! Yin-care® Has an “expiration” date of 10.16.23!
Indeed, Yin-care®’s current batch of Herbal Wash shows an “expiration” date of 10.16.23. As you can see, the word expiration is in quotes here. The reason is that we are required to put an “expiration” date on the product; however, it really is supposed to be considered a “Best By” date. We did try to get this printed on the boxes instead of “expiration” but the FDA equivalent in China would not allow for it.

Composition of Yin-care®’s Herbal Wash
Dr. Hudson has been using it since 1999 – has never had a problem with any product – We have one patient still using bottles form 2002 that work well. The expiration date is something we were forced to put on the bottles. If your patients still have a bottle in their cupboard that expired 10 years ago – it would still do the job.
One other option for handling this delicate issue with your patients is to offer it in a less obtrusive fashion by unboxing the bottle and selling it without the box. The same dates are printed on the bottom of the bottle; however, they are more challenging to read.
The reason we are even suggesting this is for continuity of care for your patients. We will have no trouble selling the product being so close to this “expiration date”. There simply is ALWAYS a demand for Yin-care®’s Herbal Wash. We are concerned about our ability to bring in another batch from China considering we have had difficult with Yin-care®’s Supreme Oral Care.
We are working on a more sustainable solution that allows us more control over the product. We will keep you in the loop as that evolves; however, please note that there is a possibility that there would be a few months without a decent supply within date. We are doing our best to avoid this possibility.
Due to these factors, we are asking you to check a box upon check out acknowledging that you are aware of the printed “expiration” date and that you are ok with that. We will not allow for product returns related to expiry.
