Saw Palmetto is a plant native to North America and it has been used safely for decades to support normal prostate and urinary function.
As men age, the function of their prostate gland tends to change. This change during the normal aging process can cause alterations in the functioning of urinary function, including hesitancy, urgency, and increased frequency of urination. Saw palmetto is able to inhibit the conversion of testosterone to its more active and potentially deleterious form, dihydrotestosterone (DHT), via inhibition of alpha-5-reductase.
Palmetto-Plus also contains minerals, vitamins, carotenoids, and other synergists important for normal prostate support.
It differs from the Palmetto-Plus Forte in that it contains a 1/3 less lycopene per three (3) cap serving.
