Vitamin D3 Liquid is uniquely formulated to support healthy bones, normal growth, and healthy immune system development for kids. This formula contains clinically relevant amounts of both vitamin D as cholecalciferol (D3) and vitamin K as vitamin K1 (phytonadione). Current research suggests that the combined supplementation of vitamins D and K can be more effective than either vitamin alone for both bone health.
Deficiencies in vitamin D are common in pediatric and adult populations. Evidence suggests that vitamin D3 can be more effective at raising and maintaining vitamin D levels in the body rather than vitamin D2. Studies have shown that supplementation with vitamin D may help promote bone development and a normal immune system in the pediatric population.
As with vitamin D, vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin that supports bone health. It has been shown to support healthy bone density status in certain pediatric populations.
Vitamin D3 Liquid provides 1,000 IU (25 mcg) of vitamin D3 and 100 mcg of vitamin K1 per half-dropperful serving for children. The graded dropper provides a convenient method for flexible serving options.
Recommended Use: Children ages 4 and over, take 0.5 mL (half a dropperful) per day or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
