How Aloe 22 Works

Aloe 22 by Health Concerns Chinese Herbs balances dispersing, eliminative forces with contracting and building forces, thus it is useful for a broad range of applications.

The black walnut (juglans nigra) is a native tree of North America. Black walnuts are smaller, harder, and more pungent than the English walnuts sold in grocery stores. The hulls without the meaty kernels inside are used in herbal medicine. Black walnut trees exude a sap that discourages the growth of competing plants over their roots. Black walnut hulls contain juglone, a chemical that is antibacterial, antiviral, antiparasitic, and a fungicide. The hulls also contain tannins, vitamin C and zinc. Tannins act as a defense mechanism in plants against pathogens. The antihelmintic properties of tannins have been shown in scientific studies. Tannins are described to be antibacterial, and anti-diarrheic.

Astringent herbs such as mume (wu mei), terminalia (he zi), pomegranate (shi lui pi), nutmeg (rou dou kou), rubia (fu pen zi) is used for diarrhea caused by infections.

Anthelmintics such as ulmus (wu yi), zanthoxylum (hua jiao), and aloe vera (lu hui) are used for parasites in the bowels.
