Our gut and gut flora have a significant effect on all our body’s organs, especially the liver: A functioning gut is an important requirement to avoid excessive strain on the liver and to so ensure it can fulfill its functions.

For whom is OMNi-BiOTiC® HETOX suitable?

Our liver is a very large, vital organ and is responsible for a multitude of different processes in our body: Every day 2,000 liters of blood are filtered in our liver and are so liberated of noxious substances (like alcohol, medicines or other toxic substances) so that these can never do harm to our organism. At the same time, the liver metabolizes food components such as carbohydrates, fats, and proteins so that they can be used by our bodies.

Our detoxification centre is able to withstand a lot more than all the other organs of our body: Within only a few weeks the liver is able to regenerate itself. However, caution is advised: Not even the hardiest liver is able to cope with unlimited hardships! What makes this especially dangerous: Damages to the liver are not felt at once as the liver doesn’t send any pain signals, but rather suffers in silence. Many symptoms of a liver function disorder (e.g. tiredness, loss of appetite, bloating, fat intolerance, and pressure sensitivity of the upper abdomen), are very unspecific and are not necessarily directly indicative of liver disease.

How does OMNi-BiOTiC® HETOX work?

Several clinical studies show that probiotics are able to influence liver function at various stages of liver damage. A current research study of the Medical University of Graz provided evidence that dietary use of OMNi-BiOTiC® HETOX can modulate liver dysfunction from the gut.

OMNi-BiOTiC® HETOX is a food supplement for special medical purposes (balanced diet) for diet management in cases of liver dysfunction.

OMNi-BiOTiC® HETOX contains 8 scientifically tested bacterial strains which exhibit the following characteristics and properties, which define the intended use of the product:

• Stimulate the activity of macrophages (phagocytes)
• Increase neopterin levels
• Enhance the oxidative burst from neutrophils

Recommended Use

Stir 1 sachet of OMNi-BiOTiC HETOX once daily into approx. 4 oz / 125 mL of room temperature water, wait at least 1 minute for activation, stir again and then drink. OMNi-BiOTiC HETOX should preferably be taken on an empty stomach.
