PureBi•Ome Intensive provides 25 billion CFU per capsule of 4 clinically researched probiotic strains Lactobacillus acidophilus (NCIMB 30157), Lactobacillus acidophilus (NCIMB 30156), Bifidobacterium bifidum (NCIMB 30153) and Bifidobacterium lactis (NCIMB 30172), combined with 5 billion CFU Saccharomyces boulardii to support normal microflora balance, normal bowel movements and gastrointestinal (G.I.) comfort. In two double-blind, placebo-controlled trials, supplementation with 25 billion CFU of the probiotic blend provided support for normal intestinal microflora populations, supported normal abdominal comfort, bowel function and normal elimination functions, and lessened the occurrence of occasional diarrhea. Saccharomyces boulardii is a probiotic yeast included for additional support for normal bowel function. In a double-blind, controlled trial involving 151 individuals, S. boulardii supplementation lessened the occurrence of occasional diarrhea and supported normal bowel function. Research suggests that S. boulardii may support normal enzyme secretions to support normal digestive functions and neutralize toxins.
