FUNCTIONS
Clears heart heat, dispels dampness, tonifies qi, nourishes yin.
INDICATIONS
Traditional:
Heart and spleen deficiency due to mental stress or spleen and kidney deficiency due to overindulgence in alcohol; marked by deficiency fever, turbid urine, urinary frequency, spermatorrhea, enuresis, sensations of incomplete urination, and leukorrhea.
Modern:
Pyelitis, chronic gonorrhea, cystitis, inflammation of the urinary tract, hypertrophy of the prostrate gland, impotence, and stomatitis.
