Rehmannia & Milk Thistle is a Rehmannia & Milk Thistle herbal formula which vitalizes qi and blood circulation, tonifies kidney and liver yin, and tonifies blood.
Rehmannia & Milk Thistle formula (formerly known as Ecliptex) is a combination of herbs that protect liver function and treat liver damage, as well as hepatitis. A combination of yin tonics and Qi and blood circulating herbs offers the best protection for the liver’s function of detoxifying ingested substances. Milk thistle (shui fei ji), schisandra (wu wei zi), lycium (gou qi zi), and ligustrum (nu zhen zi) tonify yin. Bupleurum (chai hu), Chinese salvia (dan shen), tienchi ginseng (san qi), turmeric (yu jin), and dong quai (dang gui) promote circulation of Qi and blood and soothe the liver and dredge liver constraint. Milk thistle is especially effective in treating liver damage.

Milk thistle seed (sylibum marianum) contains silymarin‚ a flavonoid with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Schizandra (wu wei zi) - secures essence, replenishes Qi and nourishes Kidney
Lycium fruit (gou qi zi) - nourishes Liver and Kidney yin and supplements blood and essence
Ligustrum (nu zhen zi) - nourishes the liver and kidney
Bupleurum (chai hu) - releases liver depression, soothes liver and releases exterior
Red Root Sage (dan shen) - invigorates and tonifies the Blood
Tienchi (san qi) - disperses Blood stasis, reduces swelling and alleviates pain
Curcuma (yu jin) - moves Qi, activates Blood, clears heat and alleviates pain
Tang kuei (dang gui) promote the circulation of Qi and blood.
