Description

Gastrodia and Uncaria Wind Relief is designed to treat ascending Liver Yang transforming to internal Wind. This pattern is produced by the depletion of the Yin of the Liver and Kidneys due to aging, overwork, extreme stress, anger, poor diet or chronic disease. Chronic Yin vacuity will lead to Liver Heat where the Yang can rise causing symptoms to manifest primarily in the upper body and head. When the Liver becomes hyperactive it will be unable to store its resources in the form of Blood and thus will also lead to symptoms of Blood vacuity and Yin vacuity with Yang rising. This prescription's main indication is hypertension with such associated symptoms as migraine headaches, dizziness, muscle spasms and vision problems accompanied by anger and irritability.*
