Prolamine Iodine Plus is for short-term use for patients who may need high dose of iodine. It provides thyroid support.

Prolamine iodine (zein) is the main source of iodine in this product. The iodine is prepared as a Lugol's solution of 2:1, potassium iodide (KI) : iodine (I₂). This aqueous solution creates a unique triiodide form (KI₃) which forms stable bonds with both starch and protein in organic corn meal from the Standard Process farm.

Nutrients & Ingredients

Each Serving Size (1 capsule) contains: Iodine 3000 mcg. Ingredients: organic beet (root), cellulose, organic kelp, prolamine iodine (zein), and water.

Suggested Use: One capsule per day, or as directed.

Caution: High dose iodine products should only be used under the direct supervision of a health care practitioner. Keep out of reach of children. Individuals sensitive to iodine should not consume this product. Consult your health care provider if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking antithyroid medications. Not for long-term use.This product is processed in a facility that manufactures other products containing soy, milk, egg, wheat, peanut, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish.
