About Wen Jing Tang

Also known as Wen Ching Tang, Evodia Combination, and Tangkuei, Wen Jing Tang is a water decocted concentrate of herbs that are used for stagnant menstrual Qi and cold, stagnant blood. The formula can help with the Chinese Medicine patterns of blood-cold, menstrual Qi-stagnant, blood-stagnant.

How Wen Jing Tang Works

Wen Jing Tang comes with an impressively long list of health conditions it can help treat including cramping, distention, fullness, heat sensation in the evening, dry mouth, abdominal pain, low back pain, incontinence, post-menopause and menopause symptoms, and fever. At the same time, the product supports fertility, female health, and normal menstruation while is has also proven effective in fostering normal erectile function and alleviating pain in the testicles due to the carefully selected herbal ingredients.

Wen Jing Tang Ingredients

Wu Zhu Yu (Evodiae) – It promotes the movement of Qi, disperses Cold, warms the middle Jiao, alleviates pain, stops vomiting and diarrhea, descends rebellious Qi, and spreads the liver. Combined with the other compounds of the formula, it helps warm the menses, treat headaches, and combat infertility and menstrual dysfunction due to blood stasis with deficiency cold of the Ren & Chong channels.

Gui Zhi (Cinnamomi) – It tonifies the middle Jiao, combats irregular menstruation due to Yang deficiency, fights abdominal pain and dysmenorrhea due to cold from deficiency in the Ren & Chong channels, warms the collaterals and channels, disperses cold, facilitates the blood flow through the vessels and the flow of Yang Qi in the chest, assists the heart Yang, directs turbid Yin downward, transforms the Qi, and unblocks Yang.

Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis) – It treats irregular menstruation or amenorrhea due to Deficiency Cold, invigorates and nourishes the blood, helps with abdominal pain by dispersing blood stasis, harmonizes blood and Qi, and tonifies the blood.

Chuan Xiong (Chuanxiong) – It helps fight abdominal pain during menstruation due to insufficiency of the Ren & Chong channels, treats dysmenorrhea with cold sensations and scanty blood flow due to Deficiency Cold in the Ren & Chong channels, invigorates the blood, and regulates Qi.

Bai Shao (Paeoniae Alba) – It nourishes blood, Yin, and sinews, treats muscle spasms, numbness, calf aches, and epigastric/stomach/hypochondriac/abdominal pain related to Liver-Stomach disharmony, regulates the Spleen-Liver relationship and menstruation, and also softens the liver.

E Jiao (Corii Asini) – It combats palpitations and dizziness caused by blood deficiency, stops bleeding, and tonifies the blood.

Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogonis) – An herb that has been widely used to nourish stomach Yin.

Mu Dan Pi (Moutan Radicis) – A compound that is particularly effective in treating abdominal pain caused by blood stasis. It also activates the blood, clears fire deficiency, harmonizes and cools the blood, clears heat, and dispels blood stasis.

Ren Shen (Ginseng) - Among many other things, Ren Shen is found to tonify the stomach, Yuan, and spleen Qi.

Dang Shen (Codonopsis) – It augments Qi, tonifies the middle Jiao, and strengthens the effects of Ren Shen.

Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae) – A herb used to help fight loose stools, fatigue, and anorexia that has been caused by Spleen Deficiency. It also relieves abdominal pain, moderates spasms, tonifies Qi and the Spleen, and harmonizes the harsh qualities of other herbs.

Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Recens) – It dispels and warms thin mucus in the stomach that also causes stomach pain, nausea, vomiting of clear fluid or acid reflux while also dispersing cold and reducing the toxicity of the other herbs.

Zhi Ban Xia (Pinelliae Preparatum) – It stops vomiting caused by stomach deficiency, reduces distention, descends rebellious Qi, harmonizes the stomach, transforms the phlegm, and dries dampness.

Note:

Manufacturers of concentrated powders of natural herbal formulas add an amount of excipient in their products. The reason for it is because these formulas tend to absorb moisture from the air. Therefore, an excipient in a suitable amount is required to stabilize the concentrated herbal formulas. In Wen Jing Tang’s case, non-GMO starch plays the role of the added excipient.
